Zantac and Domperidone

I’m considering talking a course of Domperidone to boost my milk supply. However, I’m concerned because DS is on Zantac. Has anyone tried Domperidone while your DC was on Zantac?

Also, what was your experience with Domperidone with regard to your milk supply?

No idea what it does to milk because i never breastfed but Matthew was on Domperidone for a long time when he was younger and i still give it to him when he is vomitting or gagging. Works wonders. Used in Europe very widely for soothing tummies (both babies and adults).

Matthew was on domperidone, prevacid and pepcid (similar to zantac) for maybe 5 months? NO issues

I’m taking domperidone right now for lactation, and I’ve seen an incredible increase. Aidan’s not on Zantac though, but I haven’t seen any flare ups in her reflux.

Also, I’ve been taking the maximum of fenugreek and blessed thistle along with the Domperidone.

Although i have not taken Domepridone my daughter started on this with the Zantac also and she did fine (well apart from the meds not working for her!) but there was no problems with it intereacting.

One thing i did notice though was my daughters boob went hard and sometimes they can produce some milk too!!! its one of the side effects in babies too!
