zegerid comound + zantac

My LO is currently on zantac 0.5ml 2x per day 15mg per ml. It isnt working and i would like to try the zegerid compound. I know she should continue the zantac until compoud takes affect but dont know if she needs same dosage or how far apart i should give them. she is 1 month old and 7.5 pounds. help

find baby’s weight

then convert to kilos

take kilos and times(multiply) by ten (10)

this is the maximum mgs of zantac per DAY by weight for baby

take this number and divide by 15 (your zantac bottle says 15mgs/ml)

this is how much to dose

give in even or uneven doses 2 or 3 times a day
