KeymasterI’m always curious as to who makes the ‘no name’ brands- bcse I like the Walgreen’s diapers & I would think pampers or huggies or even luvs are the ‘true’ makers…

InactiveI like the Pampers Cruisers during the day and the Huggies Overnights at night. The Pampers Baby Dry are good too, but are definitely cut slimmer than the Cruisers. I don’t really like the regular Huggies, though, I don’t like how they’re cut and fit on Dagney’s little bottom. She’s a big wetter too, and was wetting out of diapers that she still should have fit in for a long time. I liked the Luvs, but they seem to get stretched out & hang off a little around the waist & look really uncomfy & messy, but maybe they’ve changed now?

InactiveWe LOVE LOVE LOVE pampers cruisers in our house. Kate has never leaked. Woo-hoo! Anyway, just my two cents. She can have some record-breaker heavy diapers too. It’s incredible how much they can hold!

InactiveThanks guys for all the info. I love my huggies, the only time he leaks is at night, did it again last night. After I discovered that they make the huggies overnights in his size (he is already in a 3, but barely), I went to try and find some close to home. My grocery store doesn’t carry any overnights and the CVS down the road only had size 5 which I figured wouldn’t work at all. So I am off to target today with my fingers crossed that they will have size 3. IF not I will be looking in every store in my stinkin town to find those things. I think it will make a huge difference in his sleep. Whenever he leaks and his pj’s get wet, well it is a battle to get him settled back to sleep. Last night he leaked before midnight. That has never happened and well we had a horrible night. I was up everyhour to give him his paci and fed him at 2:30 and that didn’t even settle him back to sleep which is usually does. Darn leaky diapers.

InactiveUggg…what a lousy night. All because of stupid, leaky diapers!
It used to drive me crazy too because Myles would wet through every single night and I’d have to chage him and the entire bed and then he’d be wide awake. The overnights are great, though. He’s never leaked through them once. I hope you find some. If you can’t you can try the trick I used until I discovered the overnight diapers. I used to put a regular diaper on him (whatever size he was in) and then a bigger diaper (like a size 4 or 5) on top. This worked very well. A little bulky maybe, but 15 years ago all diapers were big and bulky and babies didn’t mind.Good luck on your diaper finding expedition!August 15, 2007 at 12:30 pm #41121Anonymous
InactiveI found some size 4’s at Target so I went ahead and bought them The weight was 22# to something. He is 17# and something, we’ll find out Friday when we go for our check up so I figure they won’t be too big and I compared them to some of my 3’s I have at home and the difference is minimal. Wish us luck. He only slept for 30 min this a.m and has been now down for an hour. I would love to take a nap as well, but my stupid dog is barking if I am not in the room with her. So I guess no nap for mommy.

InactiveOh, good! I’m glad you found them. I bet the size 4’s will work great. I think a bigger size usually is better for bedtime. Here’s to a dry night tonight!
