well, the first thing i would do is figure out a ‘conservative’ dose for the prevacid- so that would be 3mgs/kilo- & I’d give that

then I would figure out the ‘high’ dose for zantac- 10mgs per kilo

and I’d give those 2 doses…that’s just me…I’m no doctor…

do you have any zantac? axid? tagament? pepcid?
give this as well as the prevacid- make sure it’s given 4hrs seperate from the prevacid- if you’re desperate it can be 2hrs seperate (our GI dr said 2 hrs, but the majority of the drs here have said 4 hrs, so I then tell others 4 hrs, but we did 2…)

could it be his formula? have you switched it lately?
or it could be the aspertame in the solutabs
some even say it’s the lactose in the solutabs, but no one really
knows for sure as many are fine with the solutabs…
have you changed detergent or anything like that?

FAX the doctor. thank dr. then make short statements. no feelings. just facts. baby’s weight, dose, symptoms etc. then ask for increase in prevacid to 2x a day. REQEST REFERRAL to ped GI. say in the meantime ped can CONSULT w/ ped GI so your baby can get some relief.THANK AGAIN.

may I ask why you want more variety than fruits & veggies if he’s *just* 6 months old? if he can handle squash, there are a ton of varieties (acorn squash, yellow squash, spaghetti squash, butternut squash, etc etc…), LOL!!

I’d be curious to find out- maybe get back to the breast- if that’s what you want, of course…but i would want the suck checked out- maybe by a speech pathologist? you’re in NYC, right? maybe thais could help you with this? hmm…
