carafate worked wonders for Jonah during acid-breakthrough finding the right PPI dose & combo of PPI/zantac when his reflux was at it’s peak…it’s a ‘short term solution’ and is not intended for longterm use…

I would think a ‘regular’ cooler is fine, just make sure you put new ice in it…

well a thought or 2: maybe it is the formula? it can take a while for the proteins to build up & alimentum does still have milk proteins…how long has he been on the alimentum? just a thought I’d throw out there…

Maybe fax the info to the doctor before our appointment? this way it’s ‘on record’ with the doctor, as you’ll be seeing the nurse practitioner…maybe fax a little blurb/letter- short & sweet & attach other documents (research) to your note.

& before bed in the pm
and zantac 2x during the day? like before/after naps?
never wake a sleeping baby, LOL!!
or give some zantac when he wakes to eat in the night

this is a tough one? maybe cut out apples, as this is the ‘easiest’ to do and also bcse kaelyn has a problem with them?

I would FAX the GI doctor your concerns…
start off w/ a THANK YOU
then state facts
then ask questions
then THANK AGAIN
then follow up w/ a phone call to the office to let them know you faxed something & then follow up again later
dr should know how scary this is!

what form of prevacid is it? I’m guessing it’s the solutabs or the packets? I actually don’t know the scientific ‘whys’ LOL so I leave that to the true experts, lOL
